These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Beds & Pillows website and your purchase of any products from us, whether online or in our Birch Acres store in Tembisa, Kempton Park. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Beds & Pillows is a premium bedroom specialist trading from Birch Acres Shopping Centre, Tembisa, Kempton Park, Gauteng. We manufacture a portion of our own bed and base range in-house and also stock third-party mattress brands including Sealy, Restonic, Simmons and King Koil, alongside our own in-house mattress brand, Toro.
2. Accounts
You may browse and check out as a guest, or create an account to save your details, view your order history and manage a wishlist. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, contact us immediately.
3. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order through the website or in-store is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. An order is only confirmed once payment has been verified. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a product is out of stock, priced in error, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
4. Pricing
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices for made-to-order and in-house manufactured pieces may be confirmed at the point of consultation, as some items are produced to order. We make every reasonable effort to ensure pricing accuracy, but reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before an order is confirmed.
5. Product availability and made-to-order items
Many of our beds and bedroom furniture pieces are made to order at our workshop. Stock levels shown on the site reflect availability at the time of browsing and are not a guarantee of availability at checkout. Where an item is made to order, estimated production and delivery timeframes will be communicated to you at the point of order.
6. Payment
Payments are processed securely through PayFast. We do not see or store your card details — these are handled entirely on PayFast's own payment page. An order is only confirmed as paid once we receive confirmation from PayFast.
7. Mattress trial
Mattress purchases (excluding bases, headboards and other furniture) are eligible for our in-store sleep trial. Details of the trial period, conditions of use, and hygiene requirements for a valid trial claim are provided at the point of purchase and are also set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Ownership and risk
Ownership of goods passes to you once payment has been received in full. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or on collection from our store, whichever occurs first.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Beds & Pillows will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order.
